India vs Pakistan in 2007 T20 world Cup final: A Tale of Intense cricketing Drama! ! 

      When it comes to cricket ,the rivalry between India and Pakistan is nothing short of legendary! Whenever this two arch-rivals go head-to-head the hearts of millions of fans skip a beat. One match that will forever be etched in the history is 2007 T20 World Cup final. It was an absolute nail-biting Encounter.It was final of inaugural edition of T20 world Cup held in South Africa. Gautam Gambhir's  brilliant knock of 75 runs and his strong partnership with Yuvraj  Singh helped India achieved competitive total of 157 runs in 20 overs. 
     Pakistan began their run chase with aggression, but India's bowlers fought back with tight lines and variations. Irfan Pathan took an early wicket dismissing the dangerous looking Imran Nazir. However Misbah-ul-haq fighting innings of 43 runs kept Pakistan's hopes alive. 
     The match went down to last over with Pakistan needing 13 runs in last over to win. Joginder Sharma was bowling that crucial over under tremendous pressure. On the third ball of over Misbah-ul-haq attempted a scoop shot over short fine-leg  but ended up hitting the ball straight in hands of Sreesanth. It was a moment of Ecstasy for India as Misbah's wicket cemented their victory by 5 runs over Pakistan. With that win India became the champions of inaugural T20 world Cup under the Leadership of MS Dhoni . Irfan Pathan won the man of the match in final. He took 3 wickets for just 16 runs in 4 overs making significant contribution in final match. 
        This rivalry is still going strong and creating new memorable moments in cricket history.
